Campsite 3.3 "Speedy," a major upgrade to our flagship CMS for newsrooms, was released today (24 June 2009). Taking the cue from its namesake, developer Sebastian Göbel's Irish greyhound, the new version brings major speed improvements (5x), along with other 20+ enhancements and rougly as many bug fixes.

After 2 month of development this release includes 10 new languages, another major cleaning methode to improve the security and serveral minor bug fixes. At least long strings were banned from the code to provide an professional and search engine friendly solution. Check it out.

Version 1.1.7 of the simple and lightweight pecio cms has been released.
The new version comes with a few new features:
* spam protection for the comments
* password repetition field when editing/creating a user
* a bugfix in the pollplugin
Update is available from version 1.1.5 and 1.1.6. Before you update, you should make a backup of your database. Then you can simply update it by calling update_pecio.php?v=VERSION where VERSION is the number of the version you are currently using. For example, if you are using at the moment version 1.1.6 you must call the script like this:
