EyeOS 1.x was great. 2.x is down-right terrible.

I use the 1.8 version and find it useful. This 2.0 version seems a bit confusing. Could not find how to add contacts.

Cool & pretty, but is SOO slow on my computer. I have a T-1 connection, but a computer that is a few years old. Maybe it's my processor that's not fast enough. In any case, in a few years when computers are faster, this will be great.

really good thing! I tried it by chance also with my HTC mobile device - when I logged in it switched automatically on mobile phone mode, and I could see the documents which I had produced before on my notebook suddenly in a kind of mobile view. wow, that's really great! tnx a lot for such a great job!

I just gave it a try in my public_html. it was a fast installation and most things work, even OpenOffice integration.

But NO UPLOADED VIDEO CAN BE WATCHED ;(

Allthough, It workes in my 1.8.5 installation.

Cheers...

Similar to the failed YouOS project. Great replacement for Citrix or X1 Apps.

Cool! It's a mix of Mac and Linux. Love it. Looks like the gnome desktop, a little. This could possibly be useful for people switching to linux, to get used to the GNOME desktop. But, sadly, I have no use for it at the moment. :-(

It's like linux

It needs safe mode to be off to run, so that's a big no-no for some.

Its not that original of an idea. About as original as their interface design. I believe I remember playing with WebOS in1998.. It basically was the same thing offering a whole suite of office apps. That was 8 years ago.. Im not impressed.
