Shinobu Description

Shinobu is a simple to use content management system. It is written in PHP5 and uses MySQL as database backend. PostgreSQL and SQLite support might be added in future releases.

The goal is to keep Shinobu as simple as possible and not overload it with features. A normal user should be able to manage a simple Shinobu website, but if he or she would like to extend the website some knowledge of PHP is mandatory.

General Features

Url rewriting for Apache, Lighttpd and Nginx.
Page management: create, remove and edit pages and make private pages..
User system: register, login, profile and usergroups.
Menu management: create, remove and edit links and make links to external websites.

This is a good backend control panel for a php developer to write a custom application with. This application is okay for non-technical user but is better suited for a web developer to cut time off of designing a backend.

ItÂ´s the best CMS that I know if you want only to have the simple modules not like Joomla, Drupal that are good but destinate for other complex jobs

This POS is not even worthy to be called a CMS, you got to be kidding me. With all the best CMS out there, this one doesn't stand a chance.

I actually like this CMS. Very simple, very light, and even allows to edit pages using PHP. Clever and useful.
