About Campsite
Campsite CMS is a free open source content management system specifically aimed at news websites, developed by Sourcefabric. A Campsite demo site will show you that is follows a newspaper publishing model, due to the fact that the user interface was designed for journalists, editors and publishers. The latest stable release of Campsite is 3.4.3 and became available on October 3, 2010. The screenshots below will give you a preview of how the Campsite demo used to look like. On January 17, 2011, Sourcefabric announced they will be renaming the software as Newscoop, so there is no Campsite demo available at this point. You can try the Newscoop demo available at their official website and see what kind of features it has to offer.
Campsite is not live anymore. Campsite is superseded by Newscoop CMS.
