OneFileCMS Description

OneFileCMS is just that. It's a flat, light, one file CMS (Content Management System) entirely contained in an easy-to-implement, highly customizable, database-less PHP script.

Coupling a utilitarian code editor with all the basic necessities of an FTP application, OneFileCMS can maintain a whole website completely in-browser without any external programs.

Features

  • Validating, semantic, and commented markup. Tested in FF, Safari, and IE7/IE8.
  • Small footprint (24 kb)
  • Possibly the easiest installation process ever
  • All the basic features of an FTP application like renaming, deleting, copying, and uploading
(Of course, for more complex processes like batch renaming or mass uploads/deletions, you're going to want to break out an actual FTP program.)
  • Gracefully degrading CSS and Javascript
  • 100% re-brandable with title/footer text stored in variables and a modifiable filename
  • Externally hosted CSS and images for smaller file size
(But you can switch it out to your own stylesheet if you need to!)
  • Smart alert if you try to leave without saving your edits

Note

OneFileCMS was designed to be installed in a site's root, which OpenSourceCMS doesn't really support. Because of this, some specific things in the demo site and the backend that require relative paths may not work 100%... They will work when you install it on your site, though!

I won't call it actually a cms, rather than online Filezilla.

BUT!!! It works and it does it right.

I love it! Its great!

Very, nice...i like it much, but it would be nice if a file could be renamed or deleted without opening the file first.

for example i wanted to delete a 5 MB txt-File...i have to download the hole file in the edit mode to do that...

another thing that doesnt work on my free webspace hoster is the filelisting...the files are listed but the following errors occure:

Warning: sort() expects parameter 1 to be array, boolean given in /usr/export/www/vhosts/funnetwork/hosting/sneaka/onefilecms.php on line 307

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/export/www/vhosts/funnetwork/hosting/sneaka/onefilecms.php on line 307

On my local xammp apache it works fine...

but at all great work!
thanks

i think this is a very good replacement for the phpfm (php filemanager) which seems to be out of development now.

great work!

It's not really a managing system. You can create, edit and upload files, but you still have to know HTML/CSS/PHP to adjust the navigation menu yourself by adding a link to these pages, as well as adjust the header and footer.

Love it. Thanks so much - It makes designing websites fun again.

Very lite and quick for updating sites. May put off people who aren't good with HTML code as there is no WYSIWYG editor and there are no clues as how to include one.

But the simplest lightest CMS you could ask for.

Looks great... this could be a really great option when building simple projects for clients. My only two suggestions would be to allow a descriptive name for each file for easier reference, and perhaps a WYSIWYG editor so those with no HTML knowledge could update. Kudos!

Ow, man. It's a best flat cms. Pure coding, no bugs. Respect!
