Hey guys, this ranking is 100% done by a script.

Didn't you guys understand the idea behind OpenSource? Money should / does not count in that scene, if you think another way -> go commercial but do not use the OpenSource brand to have a better image.

@Jini, sorry, but this is totally bullshit.
For nonprofit usage it's completely free,
but certainly, good software needs good developer, which doesn't work for free at all, and therefore the commercial usage it needs a little fee. The kryn-core is GPL, only the complex administration is not GPL.

To create templates, you have to learn a BIT smarty. Its not in relation with eg. typoscript or other complex templateengines (or even templates in php oO). Kryn templates use only html, css and a bit smarty for the dynamic stuff.

And no, you don't need javascript knowledge to create templates or extensions.

Structure of kryn ? This is your argument? lol: and Joomla, Typo3, Drupal, CMS made simple doesn't have a structur ? .... i don't think so.

I work with kryn since few months and it's just awesome, support is create, template creation very easy and the administration effective - and the response from my clients are the same.

@Kryn team: please dont be affected from this detractors, you at the beginning of a really good CMS.

    What is this.
How this comes at Open source. it' totally for commercial purpose.

    NOT AT ALL customizable.

    To work on this
ONE Must have knowledge of SMARTY

TO change something you must have good knowledge of Javascript

Then Understand the Structure of Kryn.....

This cms is very cool but one thing i dont even like that they was not updated on time and hard to control the menu bar.
very easy to hook up with host!

Looks really nice, but it's impossible to use it as a professional solution. The code is closed. What if something goes wrong? Do i get support from the developers? And at what price?

Nothing more then a nice gimmick imo. Probably aiming at the recreational users.

Great CMS - very fast and the "OS" look is nice :-) WHEN ITS STABLE?

This CMS is highly not customizable and nor should be considered opensource. The install is bugged and it's not because of mod_rewrite either. Wait for the release before you attempt to use it.

Quick install, no problems there. Smooth front-end, clean and simple (but looks good). The back-end is definitely the best feature (IMO), great page handling, easy to use but not crippled. Support on the official forums is excellent (they added the aliases feature to core within hours of my request).
Couple bits of text haven't been translated and a few boxes don't work yet.
Overall, I'm impressed so far and would suggest this CMS if you want to play with one. It's not the most basic, but it crosses power and simplicity pretty well.
