PHP-Fusion is a light-weight open-source content management system (CMS) written in PHP4. It uses a mySQL database to store your site content and includes a simple yet comprehensive adminstration system. PHP-Fusion includes the most common features you would expect to see in many other CMS packages including news, articles, forums, polls, shoutbox, comments, ratings, much more.

Version 7.01 is already here. Just follow the Website-link, above this, to the main PHP-Fusion site!
And yes, this is the best CMS I've tried! And I've tried most of the popular CMS' on this site, and a lot of the "young" ones as well, but none of them had the fine support that these guys is offering, and none of them where as easy to use for beginners, or as flexible for developers, as this one. All this combined, make this my #1 choice of all the CMS' I've tried!
I'll recommend everyone to try out this CMS! :)

True David. One point to consider is that if you need to make such restrictions, why have it open source at all. Closed source or proprietary would be better. Even so, If someone has a copy of the code released under the gnu gpl before they went to affero, the affero restrictions don't apply and they could actually create a fork of fusion.
It just shows how much restrictions there is for this CMS. If you want this for your website, please make sure you make the right decision i.e. is it worth your time with such hassle.

PHP-Fusion is a light-weight CMS, people. This means it doesn't have so many bells and whistles like regular CMS'es because they are not required for this category of software. However, with all the additional components out there, it's quite easy to get a great website that performs very well even on lazy servers. Besides, the code is newbie-friendly so they can also make their own adjustments if they need it. Noone is saying it's the best CMS, but it's a really good one. :)

I tried joomla and drupal, then i found this cms which for me was all i needed right out of the box. I found joomla to buggy, and drupal was on the underdeveloped side.

this cms is one of the worst I ever seen. Poor programming and full of security issues plus poorly programmed addonsm due lack of people that know how to truely deal with php.
Altrough it's simply made. I will not suggest.

PHP-Fusion just is the best way to make a proffesional website!
My website: sportvoeding-gezondontbijt.be never had any problems with hackers etc.
There are enough people who make infusions and themes, so you can always find the thing you're looking for!

We create, design, setup or whatever you want to call it, websites for small businesses, communities, and non-profit orgs. I have looked at MANY MANY CMS packages. While I like PHP-Fusion, as a non-php programmer, I find that GLFusion is a better package. PHP-Fusion is a good system, but the ability to use pure html without having to use php code is not the easiest to use. It has some great features out-of-the-box as long as you stick to that, but as one poster put it, just about all php-fusion sites DO look just alike. I currently have php-fusion 7 on two sites, and when I installed some different themes PER THE THEME INSTRUCTIONS, the sites crashed. This may be the fault of the CMS or maybe the theme, I do not have the time to recode each one, I would recommend this package for an advanced php programmer, but not for the beginner, in my humble opinion, but as I stated before, I am not that great with php.
