Zomplog Description
Zomplog is made for users, not for coders There are many great weblog systems around, but they all require technical knowledge from their users. Zomplog is different: it let's you focus on content instead of code. Software should empower you to do great things, not stand in your way. Zomplog has been designed to be logical and easy to use for anyone, not just programmers.

Display errors on Opera. Works fine in Firefox and is really simple to use. The UI is fine, but as I read the security is not given :-(.

yes i also not feeling well with zomplog.bcoz there is still alot of things. It's not that any user can register and publish anything at same time. No secourtiy. You dont know the new users what time he registerd and publishing data.its funny for every1.zomplog team should have to give a control to admin that he can allow the posts to publish..its just my advise

I cannot recommend zomplog. Yes it is rather easy to use, but after my Blog was hacked by some guy, I will never use it again.

Pro: free, easy to use
Con: not secure!!

Zomplog is really a nice script but the programmer doesn't care very much for searchengine friendlyness. Still there is no way to control the title and the metatags in a propper way. So the search results are poor with the downloadable version. You can get it work but that affords some code manipulation. I hope Gerben will add a serious metatag management. Otherwise all the good stuff remains useless. I moved to snews which is an SEO champion.

I love Zomplog because it's so easy to use and if I have a problem I get an answer within 24 hours in the forum. Making your own template is easy because there is only one file to modify. Uploaded pictures are displayed in a stylish lightbox gallery. MP3 will be displayed in a player, also videos. For me Zomplog is just the right thing for a small CMS, blog or both.

Laura, do not use Zomplog. It is only hacked version of wordpress I have reasons to believe. It is also one-person-maintained content management system and could not be secure. It will be to easy for hackers to hack your website. Instead, switch to wordpress - it is maintained by thousands of users and therefore any security problems are detected and fixed extremely quick. I do believe you will not have any problems with Mac. Also, if you are copying content from high-evel word processor, it might not properly copy it. Try typing text manually or copying from basic text editors you have on your Mac machine. I believe this should fix the issue.

Zomplog is perfect for what i need which is a really simple CMS. However i have been facing difficulties using it on a Mac. If I create a new page, the content text doesn't appear, but it does when i enter it on a PC. Also i have not been able to view any documentation on their website or forum, i keep receiving a 404 error. Does anyonme else have this trouble?? Laura
